In this week’s
#FlashbackFriday, we’re sharing the story of how Henry and Hattie Bachman began their journey as farmers!
It’s 1885, and Henry and Hattie decide to start a business together. Henry purchases four acres of farmland in Richfield, MN, while Hattie uses her earnings as a seamstress to buy horses, which they use to clear the land for farming. That spring, they begin planting potatoes, lettuce, onions, and squash. 🥔🍠🧅
