Sometimes it's fun to look back.. 2007 - I created a drawing of Sidney Crosby as part of a high school art project, driven by my passion for the sport. He was one of my favorite players at the time, and I ended up selling that artwork for $25 on eBay. I still recall the buyer's message: "I hope to see you draw more Pens in the future." I would love to see that original piece again. Fast forward to 2020 - this was my fourth hockey portrait after deciding to pursue art as a career instead of physiotherapy. Just two months prior, I had been focused solely on drawing pets, cars, and houses.
