“My best mate and fellow member Gene was diagnosed with cancer 11 years ago. We signed up together and went to the games until he became too ill to attend. He passed away two years ago this month. “I still pay for his membership each year, and our seats are still together. He absolutely loved going to the footy… we both did and I still do. Round One against the Saints will be two years to the day since he passed away, so his sister is coming to the game with me. Gene would love that I reckon. “I’ve been a Crows supporter since the Club’s inception and I’ve even played a few guitar gigs for the Club over the many years. Club Champion nights, corporate functions, even at Adelaide Oval. I ride the highs and lows and always want what’s best for this Club.” This is Adelaide, this is #WhoWeAre.
