Nearly four decades after it was decommissioned and left to fall into disrepair, London’s iconic Battersea Power Station is back. This time around, it’s the centerpiece of a £9 billion mixed-use development megaproject. The goal? Transform a 42-acre (17-hectare) site into an eclectic collection of shops, housing, offices, tourist attractions and public space expected to draw 40 million visits annually once fully completed in 2030.
