Why the “Center” Command is a Game-Changer for Global Pet Expo
With Global Pet Expo right around the corner, I’ve been working hard to make sure Tux is prepared for all the excitement! One of the commands I started teaching today is “center”—and here’s why it’s going to be a game-changer at the event.
The center command, where your dog positions themselves between your legs, is incredibly useful in busy environments like expos. It provides:
✅ Security & Confidence – With so many people and distractions, this position gives Tux a safe, familiar space to check in with me.
✅ Crowd Navigation – Maneuvering through packed aisles is much easier when Tux is in a controlled position rather than pulling ahead or lagging behind.
✅ Impulse Control – The expo will be full of exciting sights, smells, and noises. Using “center” will help him stay focused and calm instead of reacting to every stimulus.
