One year ago, Suffern diver Luke Leale made a bold prediction.
After winning the New York State championship last season, he predicted that his senior season would end with another state championship.
On Friday, March 7, at Ithaca College, he accomplished his mission.
Leale won his second state title and first federation title, scoring 570.40 points. Tristan Wang of Section 8's Jericho took second scoring 550.95 points. Matthew Wong of PSAL's Francis Lewis High School took third scoring 536.25 points.
"I'm ecstatic," Leale said. "I'm so happy. These last two weeks my coach Jen (Ullman, pictured) and I really put in so much work and over the full season but specifically these last few weeks I've just been dialed in and in full control of me."
