You've learned about Revelle College, now let's talk about Muir College (@muircollegeofficial). Muir college was founded in 1965 and is the second of the seven colleges to be established. Named for the famed environmentalist, nature writer, and Sierra Club founder, John Muir College is home to students from all majors but offers a distinct character, general education requirements, residential neighborhood, and student life experience. They are the first choice of more incoming students than any other college at UC San Diego.
