I entered UC San Diego as a mechanical engineering major, but quickly realized that engineering wasn't for me. I switched my major to Biology after becoming interested in healthcare, and got the chance to write for several student-publications and even work in a neuroscience lab within my first 3 months on campus. Once again I realized that biology wasn't for me, and I continued my exploration.
