Meet Sianna Pronouns: she/her/hers Hometown: Rialto, CA Year: 4th year, Senior College: Muir Major: Education Studies "When deciding what college I would go to, I wanted to make sure I picked a school with a great location, lots of opportunities and impressive academic rigor, and UC San Diego offers all that and more. I love the 10-minute walk to the beach, outside the classroom curriculum to get hands-on experience and challenging readings that keep me thinking critically. I also did an internship with the Black Resource Center (@ucsdbrc) on campus. This was one of the best opportunities I have had during my time here. As a Student Success Leader, we were in charge of creating events and supporting and advocating for the Black community on campus. We threw events from movie nights to wellness talks. I actually heard about this wonderful position from previous interns who recommended I apply. The best part about being a Triton is knowing you will leave UC San Diego prepared for life...
