This Women’s History Month I am acknowledging and celebrating the women that have paved the way for me, and have inspired me to pursue a professional career in psychology. Dr. Rosemary Phelps. Dr. Phelps was my dissertation chair at The University of Georgia (@universityofga). Dr. Gail Wyatt. She was the first Black woman psychologist I ever saw in the media. Dr. Kecia Thomas (@drkmt). She has been conducting groundbreaking work in the area of Black women in the workplace and, was one of my University of Georgia professors.
