This Women’s History Month I am acknowledging and celebrating the women that have paved the way for me, and have inspired me to pursue a professional career in psychology. Dr. Rosemary Phelps. Dr. Phelps was my dissertation chair at The University of Georgia (universityofga). Dr. Gail Wyatt. She was the first Black woman psychologist I ever saw in the media. Dr. Kecia Thomas (drkmt). She has been conducting groundbreaking work in the area of Black women in the workplace and, was one of my University of Georgia professors.
