Two years after becoming the co-heads of DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran, brought us up to speed on their vision of an interconnected DC across TV and film, a phase that they entitled “Gods and Monsters.” The duo’s plan moving forward is to release two live action DC films and one animated film per year. They’re also targeting two-live action and two animated series for Max per year. “I know what my basic plan is over the next six years,” teased Gunn, hinting that ultimately there’s some form of an ‘Avengers’-like feature project in store, though he provided no details.
