Mayfest Productions is excited to announce TiaCorine as the Dillo Day Daytime Featured Performer! Hailing from Winston-Salem, Tia Corine's unique musical style was crafted in a multicultural household. With a father of Japanese and African American heritage and a Shoshone mother, her sonic palette was shaped from an early age by a diverse range of music, from old school hip hop to popular rock. By fourth grade, Tia was already showcasing her talents at local shows while honing her skills in piano and flute. Despite a pause in her journey to raise her beautiful daughter, Zoe, Tia recognized the value of education. She attended and graduated with honors from Winston-Salem University, a respected historically black institution, earning a degree in Exercise Physiology. Tia's breakout single "Lotto" garnered the attention of local radio stations and clubs, sparking a growth in her online presence that spread her name nationwide.
