Missouri has identified K-State head coach Jeff Mittie as its top coaching target, sources told Mitchell Northam of SB Nation. Mittie, a Missouri native, recently signed a contract extension through the 2028-29 season and is preparing to lead the Wildcats into the NCAA Tournament. He is also bringing in one of the most highly regarded recruiting classes of his K-State tenure next fall. Speculation about Mittie’s involvement in Missouri’s coaching search intensified after Skim Mulkey on Twitter, also known as Trilly Donovan of WBB, suggested he participated in conversations held via Zoom.
