This March, several SAS faculty members were able to step outside the classroom and learn from other educators and innovators at this year's SXSW EDU conference in downtown Austin. Associate Head of School, Alice Nezzer, joined Middle School teachers, Jill Hanners, Deniz Beal, and Barton Ballard, for part of the conference, participating in sessions on a wide-range of education topics such as the ethical use of AI in the classroom, STEM education, managing and discussing conflict, phone-free schools, and building inclusive classrooms. #WeAreScholars #SXSW
