🎉💧Water is HER Right! Joyful moments from our visit to the Tingyiri community in Burkina Faso, where we held a belated celebration of the new well that was completed in October 2024 as a result of our March 2024 #WaterisHERRight benefit concert in Sebastopol, California at the sebastopolcommunity Cultural Center. What an incredible moment to be surrounded by the community, and especially the women who carry the overwhelming burden of collecting water, to celebrate the transformative power of clean water. Now 400+ people, who previously depended on a few open wells that were contaminated and scarce during the dry season, have access to clean, reliable water ANY TIME, ANY DAY. No celebration is complete without heartfelt words from community elders, representatives, and Sonder staff, and of course, plenty of song and dance before we snap some photos by the well.
