While tens of thousands of Washington, DC federal workers are being laid off, one Trump administration official tasked with cutting bureaucracy appears to have been using her government office to film fashion influencer videos while on the clock. The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has led the charge to slash the federal workforce under the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but its chief spokesperson McLaurine Pinover has been posting videos to her 800 followers in an attempt to become an Instagram fashion influencer. In dozens of videos filmed inside her official OPM office, Pinover can be seen modeling $475 skirts and $300 dresses, tagging posts with #dcstyle and #dcinfluencer, while also linking to commission-based clothing sites.
