Five years ago today, Breonna Taylor was shot and killed inside her home during a botched police raid in Louisville, Kentucky. In November 2024, one of the officers was found guilty of violating Breonna's civil rights during the execution of a search warrant that led to her tragic death. While this conviction was a step in the right direction, true justice would be Breonna Taylor still living today.
