The JSerra Athletic Administration is proud to announce Juan “Crabby” Gutierrez (’11) as the first inductee into the JSerra Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2025. A standout on the pitch, Gutierrez played a pivotal role in one of the school's most historic athletic achievements. As a junior during the 2009-10 school year, Gutierrez scored 12 goals in Trinity League play, leading JSerra to its second consecutive league title. His dominance continued into the CIF-SS Division 1 postseason, where he netted goals in three consecutive playoff matches, culminating in the Lions’ 2-1 victory over Harvard-Westlake in the CIF-SS Division 1 championship. This historic triumph secured JSerra’s first-ever CIF-SS title in any sport. Gutierrez’s stellar performance earned him the Orange County Register’s Boys Soccer Athlete of the Year and CIF-SS Division 1 Player of the Year honors.
