Larry Fitzgerald Jr., a former Pitt football and NFL star and recognized philanthropist, investor and business leader, will serve as our 2025 spring commencement speaker. The ceremony takes place at PPG Paints Arena at 2:30 p.m. May 4. He founded The Larry Fitzgerald Foundation, which creates opportunities for young people in underserved communities to learn and thrive in safe and healthy environments while also providing resources for individuals and families impacted by breast cancer. Fitzgerald started his pitt_fb career in 2002. In his 26 games at Pitt, the wide receiver recorded 161 catches for 2,677 yards and became the University’s all-time touchdown reception leader, a record that stands today. #PittGrad
