Colorado State University’s student government, the Associated Students of CSU, brought connections to local legislators with their annual Day at the Capitol event March 10. The trip aims to introduce students to local government on a statewide level, highlighting the importance of civic engagement on smaller levels than the federal government. Students were able to sit in on sessions in both the House and Senate and also network and connect with state legislators. Following the House and Senate sessions, Lt. Gov.
