“How Can We Get Along?” - a short film featuring Kirk Dunn ( kirkdunnknits ) 🧶 Throughout the last couple years, I always talked to clairerossdunn and kirkdunnknits about collaborating in some way to support and compliment each other’s creative work. Before they head out on The Knitting Pilgrim 2025 Tour this spring to British Columbia and the UK, I knew it was a perfect opportunity to set the stage with a short feature doc. Something that stood out to me while producing this film was that Kirk wasn’t sure how relevant his message would be by the time he finished the tapestries. Today, his message seems more relevant than ever with nations, communities, and groups unable to achieve peace. We need more messages like this in the world.
