FKT ALERT! #rabbitelitetrail athlete wandering.sunflower just made history! She completed the Florida National Scenic Trail—all 1,111 miles of it—in 19 days, 12 hours, and 13 minutes, becoming the fastest person ever to take on this journey. Starting in Big Cypress National Preserve at 3:10 AM on February 8th, she ran and walked an average of 57 miles per day before reaching the finish at Fort Pickens in the Gulf Islands National Seashore on February 27th at 2:23 PM CT. “Running the Florida Trail was a life changing experience and the most challenging adventure I have ever done. It was a 1,111 mile journey through time and history in my beautiful home state. I had to learn to get comfortable with being uncomfortable and live in the present moment every single day. The Florida trail taught me that anything is possible if you want it badly enough and fight for it. Growth never happens when you play it safe.” She’s just getting started. Let’s go, Deanna! 📸: ___bbphotography
