Burnley FC’s selection for its 2022 ePremier League Xbox and PS5 players took place at Burnley College on Monday. 16 exceptionally talented players of FIFA 2022 from around the UK took part in the day-long event which saw them treated like Premiere League stars before going head to head in the Burnley FC Esports Academy- the College’s state-of-the-art Esports suite. A Fan Zone was created for supporters of all ages to come and cheer on their chosen players – as well as taking on each other in the arcade area – enjoying games like Mario Kart, Rocket League and Brawlhalla. The tournament was broadcast live on all of Burnley FC’s social channels throughout the day featuring shoutcasters, commentators and analysists giving their expert views on play – and shown on the big screens in the College’s Performance Theatre.
