A Manchester bomb survivor’s epic challenge is to be featured on BBC news as Burnley College's fitness experts work to prepare him for his incredible feat.
Martin Hibbert, who was left paralysed from the waist down in the Manchester bomb attack is working closely with Nathan Norris, a leading expert in the field of Strength and Conditioning at Burnley College, who has worked with top national athletes, to prepare for their amazing challenge, Martin's Mountain Charity Mission.
The BBC captured their training regime using the new, industry-leading £6.5 million facilities at Fitness Evolution, Burnley College's on-site gym and fitness centre.
Martin shared his experience of training at the impressive Burnley College facilities for such an intense challenge in order to highlight the realities of the mission & raise funds & awareness for the Spinal Injuries Association.
