He came from humble beginnings, made modest NBA earnings compared to today’s contracts, and still built an empire. Starting with fast-food franchises, he scaled to over 100 restaurants before selling for $250M. Then, he rolled that into a Coca-Cola bottling business that generated over $1B in annual revenue, making him a billionaire. Sadly, Junior Bridgeman has now passed, making history once again as the first Black billionaire to transition.
