March 15, 2025 has been proclaimed Mayor’s Volunteer Appreciation Day in Tempe, AZ. In 2024, nearly 4,000 volunteers contributed 109,212 hours of service. The national value of a volunteer hour is estimated at $33.49, resulting in an astonishing $3.6 million economic impact.
