People often comment on the level of focus I have when I’m skiing. A lot of the credit goes to my mom, whom I look up to when I need to be 100% focused. She has really taught me most everything I need to know about focus. It started when I was a little girl, just looking up to her and doing things with her - doing projects, whether it was something in the garden or painting a part of the house…and how I would witness her ability to fully immerse herself in a project and really work on it until it was done. She’s never done things half-heartedly, she does things well, she does things methodically, and she does things with a level of focus, or passion, or—like I said—this full immersion that I’ve learned from. It’s something that really permeates throughout my life when I feel like I need to be 100% focused, I channel this part of who I am that I learned from my mom.
Focused on my next challenge with the oakley Latch Panel.😎
