Heartbroken. Bill Walton was one of the greatest basketball players to ever live, a magnificent passer, rebounder, scorer, defender and champion. Away from the court, he was one of the most genuine, generous and gentle souls I’ve ever known. Ridiculously intelligent, funny and insightful, he never made it about himself, he always made it about you and yours.
