Every summer Denver Film hosts Film on the Rocks at Denver Arts and Venues Red Rocks Amphitheater. In 2024 Denver film held the 1st "Sundown Throwdown," where 60 local bands competed for the top three spots. Those three bands got 15 minutes a piece to perform their best stuff live and the crowd voted for the winner. Radio Fluke took the top spot and won an opportunity to play Film on The Rocks.
