There's A Famine of the Word of God in the Church In this episode of Holy Disruption, host Heather Schott is joined by guest Corey Russell to discuss the alarming decline in biblical literacy among Christians. They explore the consequences of neglecting the Word of God and emphasize the urgent need for the church to return to a deep, intimate relationship with Jesus, centered on scripture. Corey shares insights on how distractions and cultural influences have led to spiritual starvation and how important it is for both individuals and leaders to revive their commitment to daily Bible study. They also discuss the critical role of modeling and teaching scripture to the next generation.
