At this year’s sxswedu Conference & Festival, Girl Scouts of the USA CEO Bonnie Barczykowski joined an impactful panel discussing the urgent need for mental health support for girls. Alongside Dr. Christine Crawford (NAMI), Gold Award Girl Scout Dylan George, and dedicated Girl Scout volunteer Isis Martinez, they explored the mental health challenges facing young girls and the power of community support in fostering well-being.💚
Research shows that girls as young as age five report feeling lonely, highlighting how deeply the loneliness epidemic and mental health crisis is affecting young girls. Now more than ever, we must work together to support the mental wellness of all girls.
