From breathtaking waterfalls to freezing temps, the Auburn University at Montgomery #CollegeAmbassadors had an unforgettable weekend at Little River Canyon National Preserve! They kicked off the trip with a visit to the Little River Canyon Center, where they learned about the park’s ecology and history—including its role as the starting point of the Trail of Tears. After hiking to the main waterfall, they explored the canyon’s stunning frozen waterfalls and took in the crisp winter air. That night, they braved 26-degree temps while camping at DeSoto State Park—warming up with a big fire, s’mores, and stories under the stars.
