Daniela Sueiro ’27 and Rai Runions ’27 had rewarding and life-changing experiences pursuing Winter Term micro-internships at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp in Alaska. "Not only was I surrounded by the most amazing views of the Alaskan mountains and the Pacific Ocean, but I also had the opportunity to intern at one of the coolest organizations I've ever seen," Rai says. "Helping the staff at Sitka Fine Arts Camp bring high quality arts education to Alaskan youth was such a fulfilling experience, and I'll cherish for the rest of my life." They were able to assist in the production of events such as hosting a concert with the Grammy-winning Steep Canyon Rangers. "There is so much to learn about what goes into an amazing production like this, and what better place to do it than in stunning Sitka, Alaska!" Daniela says. "SFAC is doing such a great job at expanding arts access and I'm proud to help."
