In honor of Black History month, I'd like to tell you all about Coloradans who are making history today. The story of the Battle family is one of turning an injustice into an opportunity to enhance public safety. Sharon Battle, an Air Force veteran, pastor and pastor's wife, worked with togethercolorado to build a collaboration that included community members, law enforcement leaders, legislators and the Attorney General's office to change public policy around witness identification.
