And so many more live with the terrible consequences. • 90% of Alamosa County prisoners are struggling with opioid use disorder. We need to provide more treatment and options other than jail. • During COVID-19, things have gotten worse. Overdose deaths are up by 200%. We have won $400 million in settlement funds to address the opioid crisis here in Colorado. Our office has worked with local governments on a framework to spend the settlement funds and address the crisis.
