#PowerStudent update: Meanwhile in Malawi, we’re thrilled to share that our first female secondary school graduate, Monica K., whom we featured on our blog at the end of last year, was recently selected into college and will continue to be sponsored through our 'Education is Power' program! Monica is breaking barriers as one of the few girls in her class studying carpentry and joinery 🪚🔨 Monica has been part of our #EducationIsPower program for four years, making her one of our longest sponsored students. Last year, she also became the first girl in her family—and in her community—to graduate from secondary school.
