Opening night for the return of Tennessee Williams’ “A Streetcar Named Desire” to Soulpepper Theatre, directed by Weyni Mengesha. A heartrending story portrayed with such mirth and magic. What a privilege to have seen both productions in this space, five years apart, and to witness the performances I can only imagine Tennessee dreamt of as he wrote this piece. This re-telling is exceptional and here until July 7th.
