In October, a team of 50 faculty and students from fields ranging from mechanical engineering to marine science and the arts traveled to Block Island’s offshore wind farm — the first of its kind in the U.S. This multidisciplinary visit was a unique opportunity to explore the integration of renewable energy across research, education, and the workforce.
