#DidYouKnow? On March 18, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. traveled to Memphis, TN, as part of his Poor People’s Campaign tour. He stood in solidarity with the brave sanitation workers on strike, addressing a crowd of 10,000 diverse supporters at Mason Temple.
In his powerful speech, “All Labor Has Dignity,” he reminded us all of the worth and natural courage and bravery in every worker’s struggle.
As we reflect on Dr. King’s enduring legacy, we invite you to join us on April 4th from 5 -7 PM Central to honor the Man, the Moment, and the Movement. In unity, we can uplift one another, drawing strength from our shared commitment to justice and equality.
