An appeals court judge took the bizarre step of recording himself handling several handguns and explaining their mechanisms as he slammed colleagues for upholding a California law banning magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition. US Circuit Judge Lawrence VanDyke said he hoped the video would show how a lack of familiarity with firearms had resulted in a flawed 7-4 decision by the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals.
