More than 80,000 Americans are missing in action from past conflicts since World War II. The United States is committed to locating and recovering missing service members, ensuring that no one is left behind. Texas A&M University honors the fallen and supports their families by preserving their memory and recognizing their sacrifice. Historian Tristan Krause is helping to find our missing soldiers. He researches missing soldiers to gather enough information and regularly attends fieldwork missions to help find and identify them. During each mission, Tristan leads a toast for the missing to humanize the person they are looking for and remind the team why they are there. This is one of his toasts.
