Earlier this month, officers hit the beach of Ocean Grove to assist dsaoceangrove and give people with disabilities the opportunity to ride one wave at a time. ⁣ ⁣ Not only did members of our Community Engagement Unit and general officers assist, but volunteers from across the state, and beach lovers also gave up their time as 85 participants took to the water. ⁣ ⁣ After riding some pretty impressive waves, participants were presented with a medal for their courageous efforts, including nine-year-old Toby. ⁣ ⁣ Seeing how brave and excited the surfers were, was inspiring for our members, who shared it was a day they'll never forget 🌊🏄⁣ ⁣ #DisabledSurfersAssociationAustralia #RegionalPolicing #CommunityPolicing #Police
