Rainy season is here… and so is the plastic. Every year, monsoon rains in Indonesia wash mountains of plastic from rivers into the open ocean. We’ve been cleaning the coastlines non-stop but we always knew there was more pollution out there—beyond the horizon, out of reach. Now, thanks to a dedicated donor and 4ocean Foundation, we have The Dugong—a 12-meter-long vessel built to chase the currents and intercept ocean plastic before it disappears into the deep.
