The National Transportation Safety Board is urging government agencies to study 68 U.S. bridges frequented by ocean-going vessels and constructed before current risk standards were established.
The list includes two in Oregon: the St. Johns Bridge, built in 1931, and the Astoria-Megler Bridge, built in 1966.
