John Ihrke (Fy. | Northbrook, Ill. | Glenbrook North) was selected as the Men’s Rookie of the Year after winning the 800 meters in a personal-record time of 1:54.53 at the 2025 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Ihrke also registered an honorable mention performance in the 600 meters with another PR of 1:22.02.
