We believe in fair and equal rights for all Queens across the world. That’s why today, we’re highlighting #HumanRightsDay, a day to commemorate the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). On December 10, 1948, the United Nations General Assembly organized a document laying out the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being - regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, etc. It is available in 577 languages and is currently the most translated document in the world. The United Nation’s theme for this year is “Our Rights, Our Future, Right Now,” which calls for us to “acknowledge the importance and relevance of human rights in our everyday lives”. The organization is focusing on how human rights are a critical role in peaceful solutions, hoping to prevent violence and protect people internationally.
