Good morning #BlueAngels fans! Today we had the opportunity to fly one of Virginia Beach’s hometown heroes, Jay Lewter, prior to the NAS Oceana Airshow. Jay has spent the past 26 years working in the Chesapeake school system, serving as Hickory Elementary School’s principal for the last 8 years. His dedication to the youth of his community has directly resulted in the success of his students. Outside of his teaching capacity, he also organizes several programs, to include Veterans Day parades, MS2S Mentors, and Month of the Military Child. Our Key Influencer Program aims to showcase the hardwork and dedication of people who give so much to their local communities.
