Core memories made. ✅ I had the good fortune of taking my youngest son to South Texas this weekend to hunt just a few miles north of Mexico on a ranch that has become pretty special to us. Sam got it done again on a South Texas buck with a perfect double lung shot. We hunted arrowheads for hours with good buddies, ate like kings and explored beautiful country on a beautiful (but cold) weekend. Sam grew and learned to much as an outdoorsman this weekend which makes me extremely proud as his Dad. He has to be very patient, which is not one of my better virtues so he could take a good ethical shot and not affect other deer in close proximity. Fortunately, it paid off this time. The ranch manager jumped in with montanaknifecompany and made sure to get Sam dialed in on gutting and cleaning his harvest.
