Proud Dad moment!!! Our youngest son Sam (12) had an amazing hunt with me in West Texas where he went 5\5 on the week and was fortunate to harvest his 1st buck on the final day of whitetail season. What an ALL-TIME hunt together that I’ll never forget! I introduced him to hunting last year in my attempt to raise him like I was raised. He went 3\3 on a hunt last year with a javelina and 2 big South Texas does. He already loved the outdoors, but this solidified an immediate interest in hunting. Fast forward to this year. Mrs. Meat Church and I gave Sam a 6.5 Creedmore for Christmas this year, and well, to say he is hooked on hunting and the outdoors is an understatement. Going 5\5 on this hunt in West Texas to make him 8\8 in 2 seasons. The kid has ice in his veins. He is cold blooded. He never seems to get nervous. On this hunt he harvested 2 turkey, 2 pigs and this awesome first buck. Pretty amazing first buck! All of the shots were at least 100 yards and he harvested the buck at 16...
