This Bourbon Holiday Cocktail is perfect for sipping or parties this time of year. can’t wait to see how many heads explode because I used wellerbourbon Single Barrel by buffalotracedistillery in a cocktail. 😂 But as wise man once told me, better bourbon = better cocktails. Use what ya love! This recipe calls for honey syrup (aka honey simple syrup). Honey syrup is made by mixing 1:1 honey and water and heating it up in a pot and stirring until the color becomes one. Fill a cocktail glass with ice. Pour in 2 oz bourbon, 2 oz freshly squeezed orange juice, 1 oz pomegranate juice and 1 oz honey syrup & top it with orange soda. Stir with a bar spoon. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and half of an orange wheel.
